Suunto Ambit software updates support

Software updates enhance the functionality of the Suunto Ambit GPS watches through new features and improvements. We strongly encourage you to install updates as soon as they are available.

To update your Suunto Ambit watch:
1. Install SuuntoLink on your PC/Mac if you have not done so already.
2. Connect your Ambit watch to your PC/Mac with the supplied USB cable.
3. If an update is available, you will be prompted to update the watch.

Suunto Ambit3 Vertical software update, December 2016

The 1.1.22 software update brings daily step count and other usability improvements and fixes to Suunto Ambit3 Vertical.

Suunto Ambit3 Vertical software update, July 20th 2016

The 1.0.31 software update brings new popup screen informing that navigation is off route, fixed bug that caused countdown timer to freeze if reset during last second, fixed UI translations for "Navigation" and "GPS mode“ and several other fixes and general improvement.

The 2.4.1 software update brings altitude navigation with real-time altitude profile graph during the exercise. The update will also bring other useful features and enhancements, like daily step count and the possibility to reset your recovery test calibration.

Thanks to the Suunto Ambit SW upgrade 2.0 Suunto Ambit users are able to download and develop their own features in the Suunto App Zone. This made Suunto Ambit the first GPS watch on the market to constantly evolve.
